Robin Gayle

Robin Gayle Wright was the daughter of Gayle (Gaston) who was the national director of Mary Kay and Freddie Wright, a pharmacist executive. She grew up in San Diego, California. Her professional journey began when she was 14 as a model. She worked in Paris, Japan and Paris. After high school, she decided to pursue a career as an actress. She was offered a part on the soap show Santa Barbara (1984), for which she was nominated three times for a Daytime Emmy. Dane Witherspoon was her fellow cast member, and she was married to him in 1986. In 1987, she portrayed the role of the title character in The Princess Bride. After leaving the cast of Santa Barbara, she got the role of the lead in Denial (1990) along with Jason Patric. In the year 1990, she was playing the role of State of Grace (1990) and met actor Sean Penn, by whom she had a daughter, Dylan Frances, and a son named Hopper Jack. Robin returned to Hollywood after a break with one of her most famous roles: Tara in The Playboys (1992). She was a stunning actress and was a fantastic performer. Next, she was in Toys (1992) in the film Toys (1992) alongside Robin Williams. She gave a hilarious performance. Wright was part of 1994's blockbuster sensation Forrest Gump (1994) with Tom Hanks. Wright received a nomination for the Golden Globe Award in recognition of her performance as Jenny. She was given a minor role in The Crossing Guard (1995) with Jack Nicholson. After rejecting 14 roles she finally got the lead part in MGM/UA's Moll Flanders (1996). Pen Densham directed her and Stockard Channing starred. Her next film was Erin Dignam's Loved (1997) along with William Hurt.
