Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Anne Vincie (born on the 10th of December, 1987) is an American sports presenter and journalist. As reporter for Fox NASCAR, she presents the daily news and updates program NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie's love for stock car racing started when she was issued an entry pass to the pit lane, and after graduation from Christopher Newport University, she worked as a journalist at Langley Speedway. When SceneDaily published her self-made blog posts about NASCAR and she was able to draw attention. Vincie was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia on December 10, 1987. Her family relocated to Warrenton following the time Vincie began high school. Vincie is the eldest daughter of John and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's grandmother Eleanor N. Logan was a fifth grade teacher while her grandfather was on the faculty at Bridgewater College. Journalism was something she'd always been interested in from a young age. Vincie graduated in 2006 from Fauquier High School. She competed in track and field events as well as worked as a coach for the school's wrestling team for four years. She won the 800m competition in the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie had a meeting with journalist Al Pearce who mentored her and provided Vincie with a large amount of information. She graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2010 with an undergraduate degree in communications. Vincie worked as an intern in the department's athletics department at the university. Vincie also held a similar position for the USAR Pro Cup Series, Charlotte Motor Speedway. She wrote her senior dissertation on gender inequality in auto racing that focused on female race car driver Danica Patrick. She became attracted to the sport when she was granted a pit lane access to the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her inspirations include Wendy Venturini and Krista Voda.
