Noureen DeWulf

American actress Noureen DeWulf, a native of the United States, (nee Ahmed), Her film credits include West Bank Story (2005) and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2008). She also starred in The Back-up Plan (2010). She also played Lacey in the sitcom Anger Management (2012-2014). DeWulf was noureen Ahmed, an New York City native, to Gujarati Indian parents, from Pune, Maharashtra. She lived in Stone Mountain in Georgia. She was raised Nizari Ismaili Muslim. She is the sister of two. Aziza, her older sister is a Boston-based Professor of law at Northeastern University. Sara is her younger sister, is an San Francisco lawyer. DeWulf was a theatre student and studied international relations at Boston University's School for the Arts. She relocated to Los Angeles after graduating to pursue acting as a profession. She is fluent in Hindi, Urdu, and Gujarati. DeWulf began her acting career with the Oscar Award-winning short film West Bank Story. She was Fatima who is a dancer and singing Palestinian cashier who is the love of an Israeli soldier. Since then, she has worked in comedy television series and movies. She starred in recurring roles on the NBC series Outsourced and TNT's Hawthorne from 2009 to 2011. DeWulf also appeared in Maneater which is a Lifetime miniseries. She starred with Matthew McConaughey in the romantic comedy Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009) and Jeremy Piven in The Goods : Live Hard and Sell Hard (2009). The Taqwacores (2010) premiered at Sundance Film Festival 2010 and was her principal role. She co-starred alongside Charlie Sheen in the television sitcom Anger Management which ran from 2012 until 2014 on FX.In 2014, DeWulf won Best Actress at the Comedy Ninja Film and Screenplay Festival for her portrayal of a murderous temp in the film of her own, Coffee, Kill Boss.In 2014, DeWulf was ranked #93 in Maxim magazine's "Hot 100" for the second time (the first time in 2007) and was named one of the most attractive women on the planet according to the magazine's readers. She was also listed in Nylon's "Top 30 Under 30" list for 2009.
