Aaron Jeffery

Aaron C. Jeffery is an award-winning New Zealand-Australian actor. His characters include Terry Watson in Water Rats and Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters. He also played the role of Matt "FletchFletcher" Fletcher in Wentworth. Jeffery was born in Auckland's Howick and relocated to Australia when he was seventeen years old. He was a student at NIDA. He earned his NIDA degree in 1993. After that the graduation, he began his television career as a producer on the children's show Ship to Shore. Jeffery is best known for his performance as Alex Ryan in the drama McLeod's Daughters, which he left in 2008. He also appeared in the third season of the New Zealand drama series Outrageous Fortune. Jeffery played the role of Frank in the TV series Underbelly: Badness as Frank. He wrapped filming on 22 June. The next day, Jeffery was named Bradley Fox's replacement on Neighbours for a period of two months. It was discovered in October that Jeffery was assigned to be a Wentworth corrections officer. Bevan Lee's Between Two Worlds was also the role he played. It was announced in April 2021 that Jeffery will be appearing in the Netflix thriller series Pieces of Her. The show is built on the Karin Slaughter novel. In McLeod's Daughters, Jeffery was awarded the Silver Logie for Most Popular Drama Series Actor in 2004 and 2007.
